Causes and methods of easy fracture
1. Overload ---- change the design and increase the size of the synchronous belt
2. Overload due to mechanical accident ---- prevent the accident from happening again
3. Overload due to excessive impact - change the design or eliminate the impact load
4. Small diameter of synchronous pulley ---- change the design and use pulley with large diameter
5. Belt bending ----- pay attention to use
6. Run the belt onto the flange ---- adjust the alignment again and recheck the flange shape
7. Insert foreign matters ---- improve the environment or set up protective cover
8. Slightly reduced due to core corrosion (steel) --- improve the environment or change aramid fiber rope and stainless steel core
9. The material toughness of the timing belt is not enough, and it is easy to break if it is slightly injured ------ choose the material with better toughness
10. The speed and shift speed are fast, resulting in large stress on the synchronous belt ----------- adjust the speed and shift speed properly
11. Material aging after long-term use ---- the synchronous belt shall be replaced regularly in a planned way
12. The synchronous belt is too long or too short / the load is too large -------- try to stop the routine inspection regularly and include it in the mandatory routine inspection items
Reasons for easy falling off
1. The timing belt is too long and the length of the two leather timing belts is different
2. The tension of the tension spring on the tensioning wheel is insufficient
3. The guide wheel of Datong step belt is not horizontal, resulting in the downward force on the synchronous belt
4. The synchronous belt becomes longer after long-term operation
Countermeasures:
1. Choose leather timing belt with appropriate length and the same degree of synchronization (specification / brand)
2. Adjust / replace the tension spring if necessary
3. Adjust the level of synchronous belt guide pulley
4. Cut the synchronous belt short and reconnect it after long-term operation
